Our 5k+ (3 miles) group is aimed for those of you who maybe beyond our ‘Couch to 5k’ group.
How much does it cost?
It’s free, this is thanks to our funding partners The National Lottery Community Fund and Bolton Fund.
What’s the furthest you’ll go?
We’ll never go more than 5 miles – the route will be published on our Facebook page so you know in advance if its for you.
Do we go off-road?
It’s all down to the time of the year, we won’t be running off-road for example in the winter months – also conditions may not be suitable. Predominantly we’ll be on-road but we’ll notify you if we are going off-road!
Will i be fast enough?
Yes, if someone is faster we tell them to ‘muster’. For example, Bob is that little bit faster than Bill we’ll tell Bob to run to the next lamppost, stop, turn round, and run to the run leader who will be at the back. Bob still gets to run at his own pace as so does Bill. It’s not a race and no-one gets left behind!
